What does "royalty-free" mean?
Royalty-free means the images you purchase are yours to use whenever you want, for as many projects as you want. No usage fees or additional charges are applied. This non-exclusive license allows you to use the images on the permitted number of workstations (see below).
You may not use IMAGEZOO images on any product where the image itself becomes the primary aspect of the product for resale (for instance, if an image is used on a coffee cup to sell that coffee cup, on a T-shirt to sell that T-shirt, etc.) If you need to use an IMAGEZOO image on more than the permitted number of workstations, or for other purposes, you must contact us for more information.IMAGEZOO images are licensed for use on ten (10) workstations.
Is the information I provide to IMAGEZOO protected?
- Click the reply button on any email from us and type 'Remove' in the subject line.
- Email email@example.com (be sure to include the email address you wish to have removed in the body of the email).
- Contact IMAGEZOO directly and ask to be removed from our list.
Whatever method you choose, we'll remove you from the list immediately.
How do I remove my name from the IMAGEZOO "snail" mail list?
If you'd like to stop receiving promotional mail from IMAGEZOO, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org (or call us at 1-877-27-IMAGE). Simply request that your name be removed from the promotional mail list, and include your mailing address exactly as it appears on your mailing label.

How do I get detailed information about an image?
To discover more about an image, simply click on the thumbnail image and you'll be taken to a detailed viewing page. Or, click the image number link found beneath the thumbnail on the Search Results page or in your Lightbox. The detail viewing page provides complete information about an image, including file sizes.
Do I need to register to purchase? How do I register?
Yes, you must fully register (providing your mailing and billing profiles). If you are not fully registered, you will automatically be prompted in order to complete your purchase.
Is it safe to use my credit card on this site?
What if my company is tax exempt?
If you are a Canadian company with tax exempt status, you will need to contact us directly in order to arrange payment without taxation. Please be prepared to fax supporting documentation that demonstrates your tax exempt status.
How can I download an image I've previously purchased?
To download images from a previous purchase, click on 'My IMAGEZOO' in the navigation bar and select 'previous purchases' to access the Previous Purchases list. Images can be re-downloaded indefinitely and free of charge.
How can I print out a past sales order?
Click on 'my imagezoo' in the top navigation bar Then click the sales order number of the previous order you'd like to print. When the order pops up, use your browser's 'Print' icon to print out the screen.
How do I save an image to my computer?
To download an image, click on the download button for the resolution that you wish to download. Save the file using the file "Save as" dialog provided by your browser application.
How long does it take to download an image?
That depends on the speed of your connection to the Internet. The table below shows some common data transfer rates and the amount of time it will take to transfer typical image sizes from this site.

When you see a Virtual CD that interests you, click on the Virtual CD bar to view more details and sample the images from the Virtual CD. To add a Virtual CD to your order, click 'Add to Cart'. Please note that you cannot add a Virtual CD to your Lightbox.
How can I preview an entire Virtual CD?
Preview any Virtual CD by clicking on its Virtual CD bar on the Virtual CD's page. This will launch a page that enables you to view thumbnails of all the images contained on the Virtual CD.
Using Digital Images
Why are images in RGB format instead of CMYK?
Images from IMAGEZOO are intended to be as versatile as possible. We simply believe it's best that our customers determine exactly how images are converted to CMYK. When an RGB image is converted to CMYK, several parameters must be considered, including paper stock, four-color film output device, layout software programs used, types of inks used and special effects, etc. which, we feel, are decisions best left to the designer.
How large can I print your digital images?
Generally, our images can be enlarged to 125% of their original image size without diminishing their high quality. Since it's critical that you determine the resolution necessary for the output device, we recommend that you consult your printer or service bureau to find out the specific capabilities of the device to be used. In addition, we're always happy if you'd like to contact us for more details.
How do I achieve optimal results producing four-color?
In order to create a quality four-color separation, there are several steps you'll need to take, including determining the image resolution, calibrating your system, selecting the right service bureau and checking your files. It's always a good idea to discuss the details of your publication with a representative at your commercial printer before you create the final film output. It's also a good idea to produce a high-end color print like Iris to make sure you are happy with the color before going to film.
